RNC finish rate went through the roof
After drilling the back attack sequences from this, I went from maybe 1 RNC per month in rolling to multiple per week. Danaher's emphasis on controlling the shoulder line before attempting the choke was the key detail I was missing. Game changer.
Incredible but very verbose
The information is outstanding but Danaher takes a LONG time to get to the point. He'll spend 15 minutes on philosophical setup before showing a technique. If you have the patience, the payoff is huge. But you cannot watch this like a YouTube video — you need to commit.
The one that started it all
This was the first ETS instructional and it's still one of the best. Danaher breaks down back control into a science — the seatbelt grip, body triangle positioning, creating the straitjacket. Before this instructional, I was just holding on and hoping for a choke. Now I have a system.
Revolutionized modern back attacks
It's not an exaggeration to say this changed the sport. The concepts Danaher presents here — particularly the hierarchy of controls and the systematic approach to finishing — have become standard at every competitive gym. Essential viewing for any serious grappler.
